Regular Dental Checkups
The Visits That Keep Little Smiles Healthy
Regular checkups are the foundation of your child’s dental health. They’re how we keep teeth clean and strong, catch anything small before it becomes a problem, and help your child grow up feeling completely at home in the dental chair.
Why they matter
A lot can change in a young mouth in just six months. Routine checkups let us track how your child’s teeth and jaw are developing, spot early signs of decay, and keep their smile on the right track. They’re also how kids build a positive, no-stress relationship with the dentist that lasts a lifetime.
How often should my child come in?
For most kids, every six months is the sweet spot. Some children benefit from more frequent visits, and we’ll let you know if that’s the case for yours. Either way, we’ll help you build a schedule that works for your family.
What to expect
Each visit includes a gentle cleaning to remove plaque and buildup, a thorough exam to check for cavities or concerns, and a look at how everything’s developing. We’ll finish with simple, practical tips for keeping your child’s teeth healthy at home, and plenty of encouragement along the way.
