What they are
A sealant is a thin, protective coating we paint onto the chewing surfaces of the back teeth. It seals off the grooves where food and bacteria get trapped, giving cavities far fewer places to start. And because we use BPA-free materials, you get protection with total peace of mind.
Why we love them for kids
Back teeth are some of the hardest for children to clean well, which makes them prime targets for decay. Sealants are a simple, proven way to protect those teeth right when they need it most, often the moment the permanent molars come in. The American Dental Association’s 2022 clinical practice guideline states that sealants can reduce caries incidence by up to 76% on occlusal surfaces of teeth compared to teeth without sealants, over a two- to three-year follow-up.
