Our Philosophy
While we take the practice of dentistry very seriously, we do not take ourselves too seriously. In fact, we love to have fun! Dr. Singh can often be heard singing to her patients, and loves to see them smile; hence - Singh and Smile!
Because some kids (and parents!) are apprehensive towards visiting the dentist, our number one goal is to help the whole family relax and feel comfortable. We understand that some children are anxious about visiting the dentist especially if they have had an unpleasant experience in the past. Dr. Singh utilizes her background in psychology not only to anticipate, but manage the child’s behavior by reducing negative imagery and keeping the visit as positive as possible. We try not to use words like “shot”, “needle”, “drill” or “hurt” as these words cause unnecessary anxiety and fear for your child. We want everyone – kids and parents – to have a positive experience and look forward to their visits at Singh and Smile Pediatric Dentistry!
